The ceremony was moderated by Cyril Catel, General Secretary of La French Tech Düsseldorf, and Pélagie Mepin-Koebel, Board Member.
The official opening was given by Julien Mounier, CEO of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf, partner and sponsor of La French Tech Düsseldorf.
His Excellency François Delattre, Ambassador of France to Germany, addressed the 280 guests and underlined the vitality of the Franco-German ecosystem:
A video message from Mona Neubaur, Minister of Economic Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia, and a speech by Christian Zaum, Deputy Mayor of the City of
Düsseldorf, emphasized the strategic importance of strengthening Franco-German tech relations.
Lucie Finet, Deputy Director of Mission French Tech in Paris, highlighted the role of the 66 French Tech communities worldwide, which help startups take their first steps in new markets.
Finally, the representatives of the three German communities : Adrien Serres (Düsseldorf), Marie-Avril Roux-Steinkühler (Berlin), and Camille von Arnim (Munich) – presented their local initiatives.
The event co-hosted by La French Tech Düsseldorf, French Tech Berlin and La French Tech Munich took place on September 10th – alongside Startup Woche – with 280 guests from industry, scale-ups, investment and political decision-makers, among 100 CEO of the biggest French Companies based in Germany reunited just before at Le Congrès des Filiales Françaises organized by Vif Management.
