During her many years as a manager in the beauty industry\, she realised that the potential of the so-called “sample packs” was not being fully utilised. The system of disposable samples handed out at the checkout wastes resources and annoys customers. Daniela developed her own approach and finally took the plunge and founded her own company. In spring of 2024\, she successfully completed the pre-seed round with 700\,000 euros in capital and is using this sum to develop samplistick into a sustainable\, innovative and personalised solution for cosmetics samples. Good for all – that is the vision behind samplistick. Customers can choose their personalised products in a stick made from 100 per cent recycled plastic and fully recyclable and take them home to try out.
